About

Yvonne trained at the Central Institute of Technology qualifying in 1991. Initially she worked in the field of psychiatry and latterly in physical health. She spent a few years in the UK working as an Occupational Therapist and travelling to various countries. Yvonne has a range of experience in both hospital and community settings, working with people with physical conditions, she has spent the majority of her time in community settings. Yvonne values building relationships with her clients and working together as a team to work on health challenges they may experience. Yvonne is passionate about assisting clients to develop the psychological skills that we all need to live a vital life.

When not a work Yvonne can be found supporting her family at local football, gardening and enjoying taking her schnoodle for walks.

My Goals

A professional goal is to undertake some training in FACT (Focused Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) to enhance her Occupational Therapy practice.
