About

Carla graduated from Otago University in 2001 with a Physiotherapy Degree. Since then, she has worked in hospital settings in both New Zealand and the UK for 12 years and at Active Plus since 2013. Carla's diverse work experience scope has allowed her to develop a broad range of Physiotherapy skills. She is experienced in Neurology, Vocational Rehabilitation, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Pain and Respiratory Physiotherapy. She has particular interests in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Neurology (including concussion management) and Rehabilitation (especially rehabilitation of post-amputation clients). She also enjoys providing Moving and Handling training to an extensive range of clients around Whanganui and Manawatū. 

Carla enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, is a keen musician and would like to spend more time in the garden or doing art.
