About

Paula graduated from the University of Queensland in 1991, with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. Over the past 30 years she has worked in Australia, England, and New Zealand, with adult clients based in hospital and the community. Paula has developed a speciality in adult rehabilitation and neurology.

Paula is passionate about assisting her clients to reach their full potential in their chosen occupations, be that work, leisure, or self-care!

Paula is a registered Occupational Therapist with the Occupational therapy Board of New Zealand (Te Poari Whakaora Ngangahau O Aotearoa). She sees private clients, and ACC clients for, Social needs assessment, Concussion service, Stay at Work and Workplace assessments, Training for Independence, and Wheelchair and Seating.

Paula comes to Active Plus Warkworth and Snells Beach from working as a Senior Occupational Therapist on a stroke unit in Health NZ (Te Whatu Ora). She is thoroughly enjoying working in her local area, where she lives with her family.

When not at work, you will find Paula enjoying the natural beauty of this special part of the country, travelling, or with her head in a book.
