About

Liesl qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa, in 1998.  She worked in the United Kingdom for 8 years, and on returning to South Africa, she worked in private practice in acute physio, also working with professional rugby teams, rehabilitating players to get them back on the field safely, as quickly as possible.

Liesl has also run her own successful practice in Johannesurg.  Her passion lies in rehabilitation of orthopaedic conditions and injuries.  She focusses on client education, teaching clients about their injuries, empowering them to take ownership of their conditions.  Her rehabilitation is focussed on functional rehabilitation combined with client eduction and engagement.

In her spare time, Liesl enjoys the outdoors, running or cycling/walking wtih her family and exploring beautiful New Zealand.
