About

Joanne’s has worked as an occupational therapist for nearly 35 years. She has worked in private practice, completing clinical work across many ACC contracts, with a special interest in concussion and brain injury. She has also worked for many years for the Waikato DHB in mental health services, PHO early intervention mental health, then moved into a professional leadership role in the DHB. 

Joanne has joined the Active Plus team in the Waikato as the Occupational Therapy Manager and Clinician. 

Outside of work, Joanne loves to spend time with her family, as well as pursing her outdoor interests including horse riding, mountain biking and hiking.
