About

Amy is a NZ registered and trained Occupational Therapist, and works across Howick and Highbrook bases. She has worked as an OT for the past 16 years, and her experience is widely varied to include acute rehabilitation, aged care, paediatrics, educational facilities, community/ home health care and private practice clinics. She has worked with clients of all ages and abilities, and enjoys the variety and challenges of working with a diverse range of people. She brings many years of working with children with various diagnoses such as Autism, PDD, ADD/ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and Learning Disabilities. She values client centred, holistic care and enjoys engaging clients by hearing clients and their family’s story, enabling them to set and achieve goals and overcome obstacles. Amy loves nature, adventures outdoors, travel and spending time with her family and friends. She has many craft and garden projects on the go, and has lived with her husband and children in Half Moon Bay for 20 years
