Charlotte is a 2023 graduate from AUT and is excited to be starting her physiotherapy career at Active+ Highbrook. Charlotte's practical experience includes orthopaedics, inpatient and outpatient neurological rehabilitation and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She comes to us already trained in sports massage and Pilates.

Charlotte is also a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, credentialled by Dr Melissa Davidson (Specialist Physiotherapist). She has completed post graduate training with Dr Melissa Davidson and is a member of the Pelvic, Women’s and Men’s Health special interest group. She can provide care for Women’s’ health, Pregnancy, Postnatal, Abdominal separation, Pelvic floor muscle weakness, Bladder and Bowel issues, Pelvic organ prolapse, Pelvic pain, Urinary incontinence, Faecal incontinence, Genital pain, Sexual pain or dysfunction, Endometriosis, Menopausal support and more.

Charlotte is passionate about helping women and men with their pelvic health, in particular empowering people to take an active role in their recovery.

Outside of work Charlotte spends her time teaching or participating in  Pilates classes, swimming, spending time with her family or with her head in a good book. 

What is your favourite part about the job?

Being able to help make a meaningful change in my patients' lives motivates me as a physiotherapist.
