Jared was born in NZ, then after school, he lived in Hawaii and competed as a professional windsurfer before studying commerce and working in various organisations. Having always been involved in competitive sports, and having healthcare professionals his family, he decided to train as a physiotherapist to help others improve their health and well-being use his experience of exercise and injury.

Jared has a wide interest in sports that include, Mountain bike racing, road cycling, windsurfing, squash, tennis, badminton, hockey, football, volleyball, cricket, and baseball.
