We’re excited to announce another appointment in our Executive Leadership team, Dr. Kris Fernando as the Head of Service Delivery for our Mental Health portfolio within the new Service Delivery function. Since 2020, Kris has been with Active+ as the Chief of Clinical Services responsible for expanding and developing clinical services especially concussion, psychology / neuropsychology, sensitive claims and mental health services. Kris has over 20 years of experience as a clinical psychologist with expertise in neuropsychology.

Before joining Active+, she spent 12 years at ACC in management roles as Manager of Mental Health Services and Clinical Partnerships, and she currently serves on several professional boards including Kenzie’s gift and the National Rehabilitation Providers Group Executive.

With her extensive experience and proven leadership, Mike Bignall and the team are pleased to welcome Kris into the new role. As head of Service Delivery for Mental Health, she will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end service delivery for our mental health contracts, including psychology, sensitive claims, behavioural support services and clinical services.
