What is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is a very effective treatment for injuries and other problems in the body offering both relief from pain and improved recovery and repair using hands-on treatment and exercise, rather than by medication or surgery.
Physiotherapists use manual treatment, exercises, advice and education to enhance your body’s ability to repair, restore and improve itself. By performing physio treatments, our qualified Physiotherapist can to help relieve pain and stiffness, restore normal body movement, and pro-actively help you stop developing further problems.
Who needs to visit a Physiotherapist?
A lot of people initially come to see a Physiotherapist because of an accident or injury. While our Physiotherapists are experts at dealing with these conditions, we also encourage people to see us in order to prevent injuries or overuse problems in the first place.
As well treating your injuries, our role at Active+ is to assess for muscle and postural imbalances in the body, prescribe exercises and give advice to overcome these, helping you to feel stronger, more flexible, and healthier.
What do Active+ Physios do?
