About our Practice

Services designed for tamariki and young people

Active+ New Plymouth have been working in the region for over 15 years and we pride ourselves on providing a high level of services from a team of passionate therapists. We have continued to expand and offer more services for our local families. We now have a number of paediatric trained professionals on our team and have established a dedicated clinic from which we offer a range of services to Children, Tamariki and Rangitahi.  You will find the new clinic at 78 Gill Street,  just down the road from our existing base.

At Active+ Taranaki, we believe in a multidisciplinary approach to paediatric care, bringing together expert Occupational Therapists (OTs), Speech-Language Therapists (SLTs), and Physiotherapists (PTs) to support children in reaching their full potential. By integrating these specialties, we provide holistic, tailored care that addresses a child’s unique developmental needs. Our collaborative approach ensures that motor skills, communication, sensory processing, and overall function are developed in a coordinated and effective way. Whether a child needs support with movement, speech, play, or daily activities, our team works together to create comprehensive strategies that promote confidence, independence, and long-term success.

Our clinic has been set up as a welcoming place for children and young people.
